Website Design Fee is not related to website hosting fees or add-ons. Price subject to change if the client decides on special design features. This design process can last a week up to a month depending on communication between client and designer.

*Please keep in mind that I only design, Shopify, Squarespace, and Wix websites.

1. Scope of Work/Payment: 

1.1. Project Description:

The Client is hiring the Business to do the following:

  • Curate and design a website (using a template of the client’s choice from the designer)

  • The main navigation of five pages

  • Secondary navigation of at least three pages

  • 3 designed banner slides

  • Domain setup if needed (must renew with website host)

  • Contact/inquiry form

  • Subscription Pop-up or embedded section

  • The product page of up to 25 products max

  • Social Media and Email Links

  • Set up for 1 extra form of payment such as Afterpay, Quad Pay, Klarna, etc during the website design process

1.2. Schedule: 

You will be notified when the project has begun and you will need to stay in touch for the remainder of the project. 

1.3. Project delay and client liability:

Any time frames or estimates that we give are contingent upon your full cooperation and feedback for the web pages and web content. During development, there is a certain amount of feedback required in order to progress to subsequent phases. It is required that a single point of contact be appointed from your side and be made available on a daily basis in order to expedite the feedback process. 

Additional content may be submitted to the designer as long as it has been planned out in the Website Checklist. If you do not provide the designer with information for one of the items on the Project Description list during the website design process, the designer is not at fault and will continue the website design process without including that in your package and you will still be responsible for paying the designer in full.  Any additional content that needs to be added may accrue a fee.

1.4. Payment Schedule: 

1.4.1. Flat Price: The Client will pay the Business $500 for the completion of the project. Client Initial Here _________ 

1.4.2. A 30% deposit is required. The Client will pay the Business $250 asap to begin the project to ensure the project is started on time. Client Initial Here _________

1.4.3. Fees: Upon completion of the 3-day review period, we will invoice you for the unpaid balance of the project. The designer reserves the right not to commence any work until the deposit has been paid in full. Client Initial Here ________ 

1.5. Payment Terms:

NO REFUNDS. Payment shall be made to Shanice Shanelle Creative Studio through PayPal (sbradleybey@mail.bradley.edu (Shanice Bradley-Bey). If any invoice is not paid when due, this could result in suspension or termination of the project and or more fees. If the Client fails to pay for the Services when due, the Business reserves the right to treat such failure as a breach of this Contract. Any legal fees associated with such will be the Client’s responsibility. 

1.5.1. Invoices: The Business will invoice the Client through Paypal once the client has signed this agreement. The Client agrees to pay the invoice deposit the day of signing this agreement and will pay the remaining balance upon completion of the project. 

1.5.2. Late Payments: If the Client fails to pay the Business on time per agreed upon payment schedule, the Business may suspend work until delinquent payments are brought current. If payments are delinquent for more than 30 days then the Client will be subjected to a late fee of $150. Client Initial Here _______ 

1.5.3. Expenses: You agree to reimburse Shanice Shanelle Creative Studio for any requested expenses which do not form part of our proposal including (templates, stock photographs, fonts, domain name registration, web hosting, apps, email marketing, etc). We are not responsible for any Squarespace, Shopify, app, or subscription expenses. Client Initial Here _______ 

1.6. Refund and Cancellation Policy: 

1.6.1. No Refunds: Services completed as described in this contract are not subject to refunds. The Client will not be reimbursed for services canceled once work has begun. All sales are final. Client Initial Here _______ 

2. Representations: 

2.1. Authority to Sign: 

Each party promises to the other party that it has the authority to enter into this Contract and to perform all of its obligations under this Contract. 

2.2. Client will Review Work: 

The Client promises to review the work product, to be reasonably available to the Business if the Business has questions regarding this project, and to provide timely feedback and decisions. 

3. General: 

3.1.Modification(s): 

To change anything in this Contract, the Client and the Business must agree to the change in writing and sign a document showing their contract. 

3.2.Signatures: 

The Client and the Business must sign the document either electronically or in hardcopy. If this document is signed in hard copy, it must be returned to the Business for a valid record. Electronic signatures count as originals for all purposes. 

3.3. Approval of Work: 

On completion of the work, you will be notified and have the opportunity to review it. You must notify Shanice Shanelle Creative Studio in writing of any unsatisfactory points within 3 days of such notification. You will only have two revisions per page before you are charged extra. Any of the work which has not been reported in writing to her as unsatisfactory within the 3-day review period will be deemed to have been approved. Once approved, or deemed approved, work cannot subsequently be rejected and the contract will be deemed to have been completed and the unpaid balance of the project price will become due. 

3.4. Rejected Work:

If you reject any work within the 3-day review period, or not approve subsequent work performed by the designer to remedy any points recorded as being unsatisfactory, and she, acting reasonably, considers that you have been unreasonable in any rejection of the work, can elect to treat this contract as at an end and take measures to recover payment for the completed work. 

3.5. Instructions: 

Once you have paid us in full for the work, Shanice Shanelle Creative Studio will grant you instructions on the use of the website and its related software and or contents for the life of the website. 

3.6. Subcontracting: 

We reserve the right to subcontract any services to perform. Client Initial Here _______ 

4. Supply of Materials: 

All material needed for the project must be submitted within 7 business days from the day partial payment was made. More than a 2-week delay will push your project behind, a 3-week delay, the invoice is canceled and additional fees will apply to move forward. You must supply all materials and information required to complete the work in accordance with any agreed specification. Such materials may include but are not limited to, photographs, written copy, logos, and other printed material. Where there is any delay in supplying these materials to Shanice which leads to a delay in the completion of work, they have the right to stop work and or push your project behind others. A 3-week delay will result in the invoice becoming canceled and additional fees will apply to move forward. Where you fail to supply materials, and that prevents the progress of the work, the designer has the right to invoice you for any part or parts of the work already completed. 

If you have additional content (pictures, blog posts) that will be submitted at a later date during the website process, please include the date and plan out the content section in your Website Checklist. If this is not planned out, it could postpone the completion of the website, and all the above regulations will apply.

5. Variations: 

Once you choose a package and or design there will be additional fees to change anything. Each page has 2 revisions included in the invoice. You will finalize everything at the beginning of the project. Any major deviation from the specification will be charged at the rate of $35.00 per hour. 

6. WARRANTY BY YOU AS TO OWNERSHIP OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS: 

You must obtain all necessary permissions and authorities in respect of the use of all copy, graphic images, registered company logos, names, and trademarks, or any other material that you supply to us to include in your website or web applications. You must indemnify us and hold us harmless from any claims or legal actions related to the content of your website.
